How much is my new closed office going to cost me?
In general a well laid out closed office ( not a cubicle workstation) will cost between $2500 and $5000. Determining factors will include how much storage you decide to have and  if your desk will be height adjustable. You should also budget between $150 and $300 for a proper guest chair.
How much should I spend on an office chair?
We always say buying an office chair is like buying a bed. You get what you pay for and will be stuck with it for up to 10 years. A good rule of thumb is to budget between $500 and $800 for a well-equipped office chair that provides the proper ergonomic support.
Is a height adjustable desk worth it?

The main advantage has always been that you can stand at your desk. Although this is certainly true, the other, we believe bigger advantage, is the desk can be lowered to better suit your specific requirements.

This means that you can go to as low as 25” making a height adjustable desk a “true must” have in order to avoid MSD (musculoskeletal disorders). The quality of the height adjustable mechanisms has increased dramatically over the past few years. Our electric bases are all dual motors and have a 5 year warranty. Non electrified counter balance bases are also a great option where power may be an issue.

What the purpose of a monitor arm?

Monitor arms serve three purposes:

  1. First, they allow you to adjust your monitor(s) to the proper position, thus avoiding injury.
  2. Second, they also increase the amount of usable surface space, thus reducing the newer for a larger desk.
  3. Third, they allow for easy movement, thus allowing collaboration.

They are also highly recommend for HA desk as they allow you to adjust the monitor when you go from a sitting to a standing position.
